Used mainly on polyester fabrics, where the ink turns into gas and bonds with fibers during heat pressing.
● Advantages : No texture on the surface, vibrant, never cracks or fades.
● Best for : Sportswear, team uniforms, all-over prints.
● Consideration : Not suitable for cotton or dark-colored fabrics.
4. DTG (Direct to Garment) Printing
A digital printer directly applies ink onto the fabric, similar to an inkjet printer.
● Advantages : No plate cost, flexible for small batches, detailed images possible.
● Best for : Cotton fabrics, custom orders, e-commerce brands.
● Consideration : Slower for mass production, and ink costs are higher.
